Face Data (Sensitive Information)

Revive AI allows you to upload photos that may contain a person's face. In this policy, we treat any face visible in an uploaded photo or generated video as sensitive face data.

Information We Collect

  • Uploaded photos (which may include face data).
  • Generated animation videos.
  • Purchase and credit metadata needed for in-app purchases.

Planned Uses of Face Data

We use uploaded photos, including any face data they contain, only to generate the animation you request and return the result to your app session.

We do not use face data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

No Face Recognition or Biometric Identification

Revive AI does not perform face recognition, identity verification, or biometric template extraction. We do not create or store face embeddings, face geometry maps, or similar biometric identifiers.

Sharing and Third-Party Processing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with processors required to operate the app:

  • fal.ai: receives the uploaded image and prompt to generate the animation.
  • Supabase: hosts the edge function endpoint used to relay generation requests.
  • RevenueCat: processes purchases and credit balance metadata; no face data is sent to RevenueCat.

Storage Location

Uploaded photos are sent from your device to our backend endpoint and then to fal.ai over HTTPS for generation. We do not store uploaded photos in our own persistent database or storage bucket.

Data Retention

  • Our systems: uploaded photos and generated outputs are processed in transit and are not persistently stored by us after request completion.
  • fal.ai processing: request payload storage is disabled by header (`X-Fal-Store-IO: 0`) and output media is requested with a 24-hour expiration lifecycle.
  • Your device: if you save a generated video to your photo library, it remains on your device until you delete it.
